Research Interests:

Willem is interested in approach and avoidance behaviours, and their implications for psychopathology. His research will examine neural correlates of these behaviours, and how they are reflected in psychological disorders. His prior research has focused on individual differences in hippocampal morphology and function and their relationship to the experience of memory.
