Dr. Guerriero's primary research interest centers on investigating the biological mechanisms underlying emotional vulnerability and dysregulation, specifically within the context of borderline personality disorder. His overarching goal is to advance understanding in this area to facilitate the development of innovative and more efficacious treatments for individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. His collaborative work with Professor Ruocco focuses on exploring the potential effectiveness of transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation as an intervention for addressing emotional vulnerability and dysregulation in individuals with this condition.
