HBSc. Honours B.Sc., Mental Health Studies and Neuroscience, University of Toronto


Research Interests:

Aaima is interested in the interplay of executive function, social cognition, and functional disability in individuals with major depressive disorder and borderline personality disorder. Currently, she is researching the underlying mechanisms present in identifying suicide ideators and attempters. Her previous research has employed a novel approach in investigating the stigma and intersectionality of labeled diagnosis, symptom display, and ethnic factors in individuals living with schizophrenia
